Dr. Gleb Medvedev

Gleb Medvedev, MD

Dr. Gleb Medvedev is an orthopaedic surgeon with specialized training in hand surgery. Dr. Medvedev returned to New Orleans and Tulane Orthopaedics after initially earning his undergraduate and medical degrees from Tulane University. He then completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. and a hand surgery fellowship at the Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center. His interests lie in peripheral nerve injuries, wrist arthroscopy, and hand trauma. Dr. Medvedev performs endoscopic carpal tunnel release, 
arthroscopic TFCC repair, and other procedures to maximize the speed of recovery in his patients.

Dr. Medvedev is the Founder and Medical Director of the Peripheral Nerve Program at Tulane.

Dr. Medvedev sees patients at Tulane Lakeside Hospital, Tulane Institute of Sports Medicine, Sports Medicine Plus and the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System.
