Shoulder & Elbow Fellows at Tulane

The European Society for Surgery of the Shoulder and the Elbow with the collaboration of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons organized a traveling fellowship for two young European surgeons in different USA centers that specialize in shoulder and elbow surgery. Tulane Medical Center was lucky enough to be selected by the fellows as one of their stops. Our doctors enjoyed hosting this year’s fellows, Neal Hawi, MD, MBA and Jeppe Rasmussen, MD, PhD. Professor Nael Hawi, MD, MBA, is from Hannover Medical Center in Germany, and Jeppe Rasmussen, MD, PhD, is from University of Copenhagen in Denmark. Our doctors also took the fellows on a swamp tour, shared ideas and surgical techniques, enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Miss River, and the fellows delivered their research presentations at Grand Rounds.
