J. Ollie Edmunds Jr., MD Lectureship - October 11, 2025

We hosted the 6th Annual J. Ollie Edmunds Jr., MD Orthopaedics Lectureship on Saturday, October 12, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. We heard from expert Upper Extremity surgeons Drs. Markus Scheibel and T. Bradley Edwards. Dr. Markus Scheibel specializes in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at Schulthess Klinik Zurich in Switzerland. Dr. T. Bradley Edwards specializes in Shoulder Surgery at University of Texas at Houston and Baylor University. Both previously worked with Dr. Edmunds at Charity Hospital. They discussed shoulder instability, rotator cuff repairs and shoulder arthritis. We also had presentations from four of our residents, Drs. Sione Ofa, Andre Perez-Chaumont, Austin Ross and Taylor Troutman. The lectureship was approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit. Registration was complimentary, thanks to Dr. Edmunds, Mrs. Karen Edmunds, and their family.
