William "Bill" Sherman, MD
Dr. William Sherman completed his medical degree and residency at Louisiana State University, followed by a arthroplasty fellowship at Harvard. He returned to LSU acting as Chief of Arthroplasty from 2012-2016 prior to joining the faculty here at Tulane. He previously served as a team physician to the New Orleans Zephyrs from 2012-2015.
Dr. Sherman is an Associate Professor at Tulane University School of Medicine and serves as the Vice-Chair, Research, and the Research Fellowship Director. He has a special interest in robotics and direct anterior hip replacements.
Dr. Sherman sees patients at Tulane Medical Center, Tulane Institute of Sports Medicine, Sports Medicine Plus and Tulane-Lakeside Hospital.
