dR. Stephen D. Heinrich

Dr. Stephen Heinrich is well-known throughout the region and nation for having been at Children’s Hospital of New Orleans from 1989 until April 2015 and also for serving as Chairman of Orthopaedics at Children’s from 2008-2014. Dr. Heinrich is board-certified and has interests in all areas of pediatric orthopedics.

 

dR. timothy skalak

Timothy J. Skalak is a board eligible pediatric orthopaedic surgeon and part of the medical staff of Children’s Hospital of New Orleans. Dr. Skalak is an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Tulane University School of Medicine.

dR. mATHEW cYRIAC

Dr. Mathew Cyriac is an orthopaedic surgeon with specialized training in spine surgery. Dr. Cyriac joined Tulane Orthopaedics after finishing a Spine Surgery fellowship at Emory University. He received his medical degree from Albany Medical College and completed an Orthopaedic Surgery residency at George Washington University Hospital, followed by a Spine Surgery fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta.

 

Dr. Leland McCluskey

Dr. Leland McCluskey is an orthopaedic surgeon with specialized training in spine surgery. Dr. McCluskey is a graduate of the University of Georgia and completed medical school at Mercer University. Following medical school, Dr. McCluskey completed an Orthopaedic Surgery residency at Tulane University followed by a Spine Surgery Fellowship at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.

Dr. Billings is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and is currently Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Tulane University. His specialty interests include total joints.

 

dR. fERNANDO sANCHEZ

Dr. Fernando Sanchez is a graduate of Instituto de Ciencias de la Salud CES Medical School. His internship was at General Hospital of Medellin – Colombia. He completed an internship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, followed by his orthopaedic residency training, also at UAB. He completed an Adult Reconstruction fellowship at Anderson Orthopaedics Research Institute, Alexandria, Virginia.

Dr. William Sherman completed his medical degree and residency at Louisiana State University, followed by a arthroplasty fellowship at Harvard. He returned to LSU acting as Chief of Arthroplasty from 2012-2016.

dR. Raoul Rodriguez

Dr. Rodriguez graduated from Tulane University School of Medicine in 1960.  After completing his internship and residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, he returned to Tulane in 1965.  With over 50 years of experience and expertise, Dr. Rodriguez continues to practice in the field he loves.

dR. barrett hawkins

Dr. Barrett Hawkins is an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery specializing in trauma and is board-eligible by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Hawkins specializes in treating simple and complex fractures throughout the body, including periarticular fractures of the extremities, pelvis/acetabulum fractures, periprosthetic fractures, and nonunions and malunions.

 

dR. Paul Gladden

Paul Gladden, M.D. is a graduate of Brown University and Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He did his residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Yeshiva University. He is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

dR. Murphy “trey” Martin, III

Dr. Murphy “Trey” Martin is an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Tulane University and practices Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery. His expertise involves the treatment of simple and complex fractures, periarticular fractures of the extremities, and specializes in the treatment of nonunion (fractures that don’t heal) and malunions (fractures that don’t heal as expected).

Dr. Daniel Miles is an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery who specializes in trauma and is board-eligible by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Miles specializes in treating simple and complex fractures throughout the body, including periarticular fractures of the extremities, pelvis/acetabulum fractures, periprosthetic fractures, and nonunions and malunions.

Dr. K. Chandra Vemulapalli

Dr. K. Chandra Vemulapalli is apart of our Tulane Orthopaedic Trauma team as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Vemulapalli specializes in the treatment of complex fractures throughout the body including complex upper extremity fractures and in particular pelvis and acetabulum fractures.
